Bengaluru FC vs Mumbai City Prediction & Betting Tips - Indian Super League
by Kennedy Kechula in Indian Super League Predictions
Mumbai City return to Super League action on Friday and will be away to Bengaluru seeking to get back to winning ways. They sit fifth in the standings, four points above Bengaluru in ninth. Bengaluru have won only one of their eight league matches and will be eager to taste that feeling again. Having won the last two times that Mumbai have been in town, they will be confident of victory. Simon Grayson’s men, who have accumulated seven points, arrive for this match having not lost any of their last three games. All three have ended in a share of the spoils with the latest seeing them come from behind to draw 3-3 with Punjab. The Blues have earned five of their seven points when playing as hosts.
Mumbai City are in bad shape at the moment and arrive here having won only one of their last six fixtures. They have lost three in a row with the latest being a 2-1 home defeat to Navbahor in the Champions League. All three defeats have come in Asia’s premier club competition which is some sort of relief for Friday’s visitors. This is because they return to a competition they are yet to taste defeat in. Mumbai, who saw head coach Des Buckingham leave the club last month, haven’t lost any of their five league games. They have won three times and are one of three teams still with an unbeaten record. The Islanders will hope their continental struggles do not pronounce themselves here. Mumbai have three games in hand on Bengaluru and two on leaders Goa, whom they trail by eight points.
