Benfica vs Zenit Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

Benfica have a great record in this competition but haven't reached the quarter finals for four years but did reach the Europa League final two years ago. They are having another good season this year challenging as ever for the Portuguese title but did lose to Porto last week. Their Champions League campaign this season has been a good one so far highlighted by a win at Atletico Madrid. They did lose to the Spanish side at home but both sides had already qualified by then. Benfica take on a Zenit St Petersburg side looking to reach the last eight of this competition for the first time. The Russian side may be handicapped by the fact they are on their winter break and their last league game was at the start of December. They finished top of their group ahead of Gent, Valenica and Lyon, not the hardest of groups really.  Benfica will be keen to get  a lead to take to Russia, especially as Zenit won all three of their home games in their qualifying group. I think Benfica can get an advantage and win this match.
