The bottom two in the Belarus Premier League meet in this game. Neither have a point between them with only one goal scored with Belshina in 15th and Gorodeja propping up the table. Belshin are newly promoted to the Premier League after winning the second tier title last season. They have failed to make a good start to their first season in the top flight since 2016. Another loss followed as they lost 2-0 to Shakhtyor, a defeat that could have been heavier as their opponents missed a first half penalty.
