Belgium vs Switzerland Prediction & Betting Tips - UEFA Nations League
by Steve Ashfield | in UEFA Nations League Predictions
This three-team group has already become a straight shoot-out between Belgium and Switzerland. Both teams have had wins over Iceland in their opening fixture and the winner of this game will be in a strong position to finish top and qualify for next year's finals, though it's probably correct to believe the Swiss would be happy to come away from this game with a point setting up a potential group decider on home territory. Switzerland were the first to take on Iceland and won their home game 6-0. That win followed an up and down display in the World Cup where they drew with Brazil but lost to Sweden in the last sixteen. They followed up that easy win over Iceland with a 1-0 loss in a friendly against England leaving them with just one win in their last four internationals and aside from that win over Iceland, the Swiss have failed to score in two of their last three matches.
Belgium never seem to have a problem scoring and two games since finishing third in Russia have seen them beat Scotland 4-0 away and then open their UEFA Nations League campaign with a 3-0 home win over Iceland. Those wins made it 10 victories out of the last 11 with the other game being that semi-final loss to eventual World Champions France. Home form for Belgium has seen them unbeaten in 13 games with goals being scored left, right and centre. Eden Hazard is in top form at present which is always good news for the Belgians and they can get a win in this match to go top of the group.

Our Belgium vs Switzerland Prediction
Only the World Champions have beaten Belgium in their last 11 internationals. The Belgians are incredibly strong at home and have had two good wins this season beating Scotland and Iceland. This will be a lot tougher but the Swiss have only won one of their last four games and failed to score in two of the last three. Go for Belgium to get the home win here.
