Belgium go into this Nations League group match knowing a home win over England will eliminate their opponents.They go into this penultimate group fixture with a two point lead over Denmark and England with Iceland already relegated. The Belgians have so far won three of their group games but lost 2-1 away to England. Their warm-up game for this Nations League match saw them beat Switzerland 2-1, the third successive time that's been the final score in a Belgium match. They had to come from behind to get that win with two goals from Michay Batshuayi. The loss to England is their only defeat in their last 17 matches. Home form has seen them win nine and draw two since being beaten by Switzerland and being knocked out of the first Nations League. They have gone four home games without a clean sheet though.

England had a routine 3-0 home win over Ireland on Thursday evening. Another game played with a weakened line-up against an out-of-form Irish team, so not much significance re this match. England won their first two group games (with a struggle) and then came from a goal down to beat Belgium 2-1 at home. That gave them a great chance of making it to the Nations League finals for the second successive time. Then they ruined it all with a 1-0 home loss to Denmark, taking them down to third in the group. Even if they were to win this game and then beat Iceland at home, two wins for Denmark would see them go through. That defeat is the only one they have suffered in their last nine fixtures. Over 90 minutes play though, England have only won three of their last seven away matches with losses to the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. Back Belgium to win this game.
