Bayern Munich's grip on the Champions League has loosened a bit after the midweek home loss to PSG. They are seven points clear in the Bundesliga though and host seventh placed Union Berlin. Bayern had a vital win over RB Leipzig last weekend to strenghten their position at the top of the Bundesliga. They may not have Robert Lewandowski at present but the goals are still being scored. They are one of only thee teams in the league who are yet to lose a home game. 10 out of 13 have been won with an impressive 50 goals scored. That's nine more than their opponents have managed home and away. In fact, Bayern have scored 22 more goals at home in the Bundesliga this season than any other side. Their last five home league games have all been won and with 17 goals scored. They are unbeaten in their last 23 home league games and will be confident of another three points here.

Union Berlin still have hopes of European football next season. They are four points behind Borussia Dortmund (5th) and Bayer Leverkusen (6th). If they do make it into the top six they will have earned it the hard way. There are seven games left and six of them are against sides in the top eight, including all of the current top six. They need to up their form though as only one of their last five league games has been won. Going further back it's just two out of 11. A form guide for the last ten league games has them in 14th and earning 14 points less than Bayern. Only one of their last six away league matches has ended in victory, with only four wins all season. Go for Bayern to win this and be ahead at both half and full time.
