Bayern Munich start the weekend three points clear of Leipzig and have a good chance of seeing that lead extended. They host 11th placed Schalke 04 while Leipzig who are second have to go to fourth placed Dortmund. Munich have won their last seven league games since defeat at Dortmund. At home they are still unbeaten with seven wins, two draws and just four goals conceded. They beat Leipzig in their last home game so are in top form. Schalke 04 are down in 11th and not quite free of relegation worries at present. They are only six points above the relegation zone and have lost two of their last three league games. One of those was an away loss at Hamburg who are one from bottom in the table, so hardly a confidence booster ahead of travelling to Bayern. They only have one away win all season and the second isn't happening this week. Go for Bayern on a -2 handicap.
