Bayern Munich will hope to move closer to the Bundesliga title when they host RB Leipzig on Saturday. With two rounds left, Bayern have a one-point lead while Leipzig are eight points behind in third. Bayern are on course to win their 33rd league crown and 11th in succession. All they have to do now is equal, if not better, Borussia Dortmund’s results in the remaining two matches. Thomas Tuchel’s men have won three straight matches; they thumped Schalke 6-0 last time out. This run has seen them reclaim the number one spot after dropping points in back-to-back matches in a tough month of April. April also saw Bayern eliminated from the Champions League and DFB Pokal which effectively ended their chances of winning a treble. They have since put this behind them. With this being their final match at home, they will have more reason to fight for a win.

RB Leipzig also come to this match in fine form, as they have won their last four matches. They beat Werder Bremen 2-1 last time out to keep their hold on third place. Leipzig are ahead of fourth placed Union Berlin by one point and are only one win away from securing a top-four finish. Marco Rose’s charges are also through to the final of the DFB Pokal where they hope to defend their title against Frankfurt. Die Rotten Bull ended a four-match losing streak against Bayern Munich in the reverse fixture earlier this season. That match ended 1-1 and they will hope to at least secure another point if they cannot come away with all three on Saturday.
