Bayern Munich are in a strong position going into the second leg of this Champions League Knockout Play-off tie. They lead Celtic 2-1 from the away leg and will be confident of progressing to the last 16. Can the Celts make a comeback? Read our match prediction.
The winner of this tie will face either Bayer Leverkusen or Atletico Madrid in the last 16. We could be in store for an all-Bundesliga clash therefore with Bayern our fancy to make it past Celtic. They led the first leg 2-0 but a late goal by Celtic has given the Scottish champions some hope of qualification. Bayern Munich will hope Harry Kane can take them into the last 16. The England captain scored in the first leg and has now hit seven goals in eight Champions League games this season and 22 for the season.
He didn't play in their weekend game at Bayer Leverkusen and the rest should have done him the power of good. Bayern will be without Alonso Davies for this second leg and Joao Palhinha is also doubtful. Leon Goretzka may be recalled in midfield.
Celtic are hoping for goals from Maeda.
If Celtic are to get themselves back into this tie, it's their Japanse striker Daizen Maeda who may help them do so. He's in top form at present with seven goals in five games and 22 so far this season. That includes four goals in this season's Champions League.
Adam Idah is another Celtic striker who has to come up with the goods on Tuesday. He's scored five goals in as many matches but he needs to find his way past a tough Bayern defence that has kept five clean sheets in their last eight home Champions League fixtures.
