Bayern Munich are two points clear at the top of this Champions League group but being pushed hard by Ajax. The German champions have to travel to Ajax in their final group game so need to get a win here at home to Benfica with Ajax expected to defeat AEK Athens. Bayern have won three and drawn one of their four games, the only match they didn't win was the home game against Ajax. They beat Benfica 2-0 away in the reverse fixture and in their last 28 home games in the Champions League, only Real Madrid have been able to beat them.

Benfica need to win this game to have any chance of reaching the last sixteen. They only have four points from their four games with their only win in this group being a 3-2 win away at AEK Athens. Their best hope appears to be finishing third and being moved to the Europa League. At present they are four points ahead of AEK who they host in their last match. They have won two of their last nine away Champions League games, both this season and both were in Greece. This is a lot harder a task for the Portuguese side and Bayern can be backed to get the home win that will take them into the last sixteen.
