Bayern have managed to stabilize after an earlier slump that saw them go winless in four matches and they head to this clash on a run of five matches unbeaten though Freiburg stopped their winning run with a draw over the weekend. Still the improvement can be noted and it is not expected that AEK Athens will be very troublesome for the German greats. The Greek side has picked no point in the group and it doesn’t seem they will get any here either after a 0 – 2 home loss in the first meeting between the two. AEK Athens have conceded eight goals in three games in the group and the two goals they have scored came in the loss to another of the group’s weaker sides – Benfica.
