Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen will close Match Week 25 action with a home game against Wolfsburg at the BayArena on Sunday. Leverkusen are looking to widen their gap at the top against Wolfsburg who are three places above the relegation zone. For both sides therefore, this is a key game. By the time Leverkusen take to the pitch, their 10-point gap might have been slashed by Bayern Munich who play a day earlier. Their only win in the last 11 away league matches was against the bottom placed side, Darmstadt. That remains just one of the two league wins they’ve managed away from home this season. Wolfsburg lost 2-1 in the first meeting with Leverkusen this season; that was the fourth straight game in which they failed to win this fixture.
