Things don’t seem to be going so well at Bayer Leverkusen ahead of their home game against Stuttgart in the 20th round of Bundesliga. They have dropped to fifth in the standings with 32 points while Stuttgart have 25 points and are 10th. Leverkusen have four losses in their last five matches, zero clean sheets in the five matches and failed to score in three. Their most recent loss was humiliating; lower tier side Rot-Weiss Essen came from behind in the DFB Pokal to eliminate Leverkusen from the competition. Leverkusen have just one win in their last seven league matches and have lost five in the process. They’ve failed to score in three of the last four matches. In their last home match in the league, Leverkusen lost 1-0 to Wolfsburg, leaving them with one win in four league games at home.

Stuttgart have also been going through tough times but will be more confident heading here. The visitors snapped a three-game winless run with a 2-0 victory over Mainz in the last game. That win also presented their first clean sheet in six matches; they have just two clean sheets in the last 15 matches. In the said 15 matches, Stuttgart have managed just four wins. More recently, they have conceded two or more goals in four of the last five league matches, which has also resulted in four of five matches producing over 2.5 goals. However, they have two straight away losses in the league, and three in four, while none of the last eight away league matches has ended with a clean sheet for Stuttgart.
