Bayer Leverkusen start the weekend in ninth place seven places and six points behind their opponents Leipzig. Leverkusen have only won four of their 11 league games this season but have an unbeaten home record. Five games have produced three wins and two draws and a healthy 18 goals with 13 scored by the home side. A closer examination of that home record shows that those three wins have come against three of the bottom four in the table so the arrival of Leipzig is going to be a much stiffer task.  Leipzig are second in the table and four points behind leaders Bayern Munich who they recently suffered an away defeat to. However, they do hold an away win over Borussia Dortmund. Six away league games have produced three wins and three defeats and two of their last three away matches have seen more than 2.5 goals scored in them. A difficult game to predict with Leipzig so inconsistent on their travels and relying on four wins out of five at home for their second place. The last ten Leverkusen home league and cup games have had over 2.5 goals scored in them and the tip here is for that number to rise to eight.
