Both these sides were knocked out of the Champions League this week. Monchengladbach were already out of the competition but a defeat by Manchester City meant they finished bottom of the group and out of European competition altogether. Leverkusen held Barcelona to a draw but that was only enough to earn them Thursday night football in the Europa League.  So it's back to the Bundesliga with 8th placed Leverkusen up against third placed Monchengladbach. The visitors had a shock win over Bayern Munich last weekend and are unbeaten in ten league games and last lost to Cologne in mid-September. They score a fair few and concede plenty to with seven of their last eight league and cup games having both teams score. Leverkusen may be able to draw with Barcelona but are in poor form in the Bundesliga with four points from their last five games. Like their opponents there are goals going in at both ends of the pitch. Ten of the last 11 games played by them have had both teams score. Between them these two sides have scored 50 in the Bundesliga and conceded 43 so this for me is a five star bet on both teams scoring.
