Barcelona just keep on getting one important win after another. At the weekend they beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 at home to extend their lead at the top of La Liga. Now they turn their attention to the Copa del rey and should be able to get yet another home win. Their last 12 games in all competitions have seen 11 wins and a draw, their last defeat was to Sevilla at the start of October. The last six home games have produced six wins and 23 goals scored so even though some top players might be left out, this is a formidable task for Valencia. They lost 1-0 at home to Gijon on Saturday and are now 12th in the table. Valencia have gone 11 league games without a win but have beaten Las Palmas and Granada in this competition. They really struggled to get past Las Palmas and this really does look like a mission impossible for them. Barcelona can get the win on a -1 handicap.
