Tottenham's International Champions Cup campaign got off to a good start with a 4-1 win over AS Roma. They had to come from behind though after conceding a goal in the 3rd minute but were ahead by the 23rd thanks to two goals from Llorente. Two more from Lucas Moura before half-time gave them a convincing lead but there were no goals in the second-half. As is the norm in this competition, Spurs fielded a greatly weakened side with most of their World Cup stars absent, though Son was on the bench. They will be without them again for this match but with three points in the bag and two more games against Barcelona and Milan, they have a decent chance of getting to the seven points that Borussia Dortmund finished with to currently top the table.

This is the first friendly that Barcelona have played as they prepare to defend their La Liga title. Again the big names who starred in the World Cup will be missing but they have a strong squad so will still be able to put out a highly competitive side. Wherever Barcelona go there seem to be lots of goals and the same can be said about Tottenham, so the best bet in this game seems to be to go for over 2.5 goals to be scored in the match.
