It's the final set of games in the Copa Libertadores group stages. This is a Group C game and Barcelona have already made it through to the knock-out stages. They host Santos who are in third but only a point behind second placed Boca Juniors. Barcelona have ten points from their five games and have won both of their home games and without conceding a goal. They may be in the knock-out stages but will want to win the group and improve their seeding which is currently sixth. Barcelona won the reverse fixture against Santos 2-0 and have only one loss in their last ten matches. Home form is highly impressive with no losses in 18 and the last five all won.

Santos lost in the 2020 Copa Libertadores final but could well exit at the group stage this year. They will be expecting Boca Juniors to get a home win over The Strongest, who have conceded nine goals in two away group matches. All of which makes it very difficult for Santos because they just cannot have Boca win that game if they want to progress. Finishing third would see them go into the Copa Sudamerica, not what they want at all. The Strongest may be terrible on their travels but it's a different story at home.  Ask Santos as they lost their 2-1 and that's really damaged their chances of making it into the knock-out stages.
