Barcelona - Real Madrid: Form Analysis
Barcelona will leapfrog Madrid on the table with a win and can finish matchday 11 in first place. Xavi Hernandez’s men are the only team yet to lose a match in the league and this is extra motivation to win. Barcelona haven’t lost a match across all competitions and have won 10 of their 13 fixtures. Seven of those victories have come in the league where they have amassed 24 points. The Catalans are coming off a 2-1 success over Shakhtar Donetsk at home in the Champions League. The win kept them on course to winning their group and maintained their 100% start in the competition. Barca, who've won four of the last five Classicos, have won their last eight matches at home.
Real Madrid have amassed 25 points after 10 rounds of play. They sit top, tied with Girona, and edge the Catalans on goal difference. Carlo Ancelotti’s men have dominated on both ends of the pitch. They have scored an impressive 21 goals and have conceded only seven times. Their defensive record is the best thus far. Los Blancos have lost only once across all competitions. This defeat however came away to Atletico Madrid, the other team expected to challenge seriously for the title. Madrid are also coming off a Champions League victory. Los Merengues were 2-1 winners away to Sporting Braga. Saturday's visitors won 4-0 the last time they were away to Barcelona which was last season in the Copa del Rey.

Barcelona & Real Madrid Squad Analysis
Barcelona are in an injury crisis and are expected to have no fewer than six players out here. Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Pedri, Sergi Roberto, Frenkie de Jong, and Jules Kounde are all expected to miss out due to injury. Gavi will however be available as his absence in the Champions League was due to suspension. Ferran Torres is available and will be expected to lead the attack. The Spaniard has scored seven goals for the hosts. He has also scored twice against Madrid.
Real Madrid also have an injury list of their own though theirs is of long-term absentees. Eder Militao hasn’t featured since matchday one while Thibaut Courtois hasn’t played this season. The visitors however have received a major boost for this match as Nacho is back from suspension. Nacho was expected to be out until after this round but his three-match suspension was reduced to two. Jude Bellingham has been arguably the signing of the season. The England international has scored 12 goals already with eight coming in the league. Joselu is also another to look out for here as the Spaniard has netted five times in the league.
