Barcelona may not be up to their usual standard in La Liga this season, but have won all their Champions League fixtures. They top Group H by three points from opponents Juventus and should be able to clinch being group winners. Barcelona won 2-0 away at Juventus earlier in the group, so for the Italians to win the group, they’d have to win by a three-goal margin. The focus will of course be on Messi v Ronaldo. Messi has three goals so far in this group, though all have come from the penalty spot. Ronaldo has two goals, including one in the 3-0 home win over Dynamo Kiev in their last match.

Barcelona have scored 16 goals in their five group matches and conceded just two. Seven of those goals have come in two home matches against Ferencvaros and Dynamo Kiev. It’s seven years since Barcelona lost a Champions League game at the Camp Nou and eight of the last nine have been won. Their form away from the Champions League remains inconsistent though. Saturday saw them lose 2-1 away at newly-promoted Cadiz. That was their fourth league defeat of the season and leaving them seventh and 12 points behind the league leaders.

Juventus have won all their group games bar the home loss to Barcelona. Only one of their last seven away games in this competition has been lost. The weekend saw them get a home win over 2-1 but they needed two late goals to get that victory. With both teams having already qualified, the chances are that a couple of weakened line-ups may be named. A bet on both teams to score is the suggested wager to make.
