At the start of March Barcelona were running away with La Liga. Then they had a run of one point from four games that opened up the title race again. With two games to go they lead Atletico Madrid on goal difference and Real Madrid by a point. Their goal difference advantage over Atletico is such that two wins over Espanyol and at Granada on the final day of the season will guarantee them retaining their title. Since that poor run of results they have certainly bounced back to form with three wins by an aggregate of 16-0 and two of them were away from home! Luis Suarez has hit an incredible nine of those goals and must be fancying some more at home to Espanyol. The visitors are 14th in the table and five points clear of the relegation zone with two games to go Their home win over Sevilla last week (the only side not to win away in La Liga this season) ended a run of five games without a win in which they'd only earned two points. Away form has them on four games without a win and defeats in the last two including a 4-0 thrashing at Las Palmas and they have lost 11 of their last 15 away La Liga games earning just eight points. Not the kind of stats you want to take to a title chasing Barcelona so let's go for the home side to win on a -3 handicap.
