Barcelona will look to keep up the pressure on La Liga leaders Real Madrid when they welcome Real Betis to Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys this weekend. This matchday five will be played on Saturday with the hosts 3rd with ten points and the visitors 7th with seven points. Barcelona are only two points behind Real Madrid but can't afford to drop any more points. They have already dropped points once in the season when they started with a dull draw against Getafe. Since then, the Catalans have responded with three straight wins against Cadiz, Villarreal and Osasuna. They haven't been without scares though as the last two have come with a single-goal margin. Another factor to be considered is the upcoming Champions League clash against Royal Antwerp that would definitely play a role in their thoughts.

Betis are only three points behind their hosts but have had an up and down journey already. They have two wins and a draw from their last four league matches with a loss to Athletic Bilbao rounding off their season so far. Betis went into the international break on the back of a 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano but now need to win against a side they lost in eight of the last nine La Liga meetings. In fact, Betis have lost to Barcelona in 17 of their last 20 La Liga matches, winning just two.
