Barcelona welcomes Athletic Bilbao to the Camp Nou for this La Liga match. The home team are currently 2nd on the table with 25 points while the visitors are 6th with 18 points. Barcelona are fresh off an excellent 3-0 win over Villarreal in their last match. It was a perfect response from them after losing in the El Classico to Real Madrid. The win takes them to within three points of the leaders. The home side has lost just once this season in the league and this is down to their excellent defensive record. Barcelona have only conceded four goals in 10 matches, keeping an incredible 8 clean sheets in the process. They are unbeaten at the Camp Nou this season in the league with four wins and a draw with their defence yet to be breached in those five matches.

Athletic Bilbao had a 2-2 away draw against Getafe in their last match but will be disappointed they did not bag all three points as they led twice in the match only to relinquish the lead on both occasions. They have now gone three matches without a win with two draws and a loss. Bilbao occupy sixth spot which gives them qualification into Europe next season but they will be eyeing a top four spot and are just two points behind the 4th placed team. The visitors will need their attack to be in top form as Barcelona are yet to concede a goal at home.
