Azerbaijan vs Belgium Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro

Azerbaijan will seek their first win of the 2024 Euro qualifying campaign when they host Belgium on Saturday. The two teams are competing in Group F where Belgium are second and Azerbaijan fifth (bottom). Azerbaijan have managed one point from the three qualifiers they have played. This was earned last time out as they drew 1-1 with Estonia at home. It was a more than welcomed result for Milli Komanda as they had conceded a massive nine goals in their opening two rounds. Giovanni De Biasi’s men began the campaign with back-to-back away fixtures and lost 4-1 against Austria before a 5-0 thumping by Sweden. Azerbaijan have not won a Euro qualifier in eight years. They have lost 11 of the 16 such matches they have played in this period. Before they began their qualifying campaign this year, Azerbaijan had won five matches in a row, their best-ever winning streak. They will hope to get back to this form as they try to turn their qualifying campaign around before it is too late.

Belgium are unbeaten in their four meetings with Azerbaijan and have won three times. With their current unbeaten streak, Domenico Tedesco’s charges will be confident of another win here. Belgium have not lost in their last five fixtures. They have won three times including a 3-0 success against Estonia in their last outing. That win allowed the Red Devils to strengthen their hold on second place in Group F. Belgium are unbeaten in the group in the three matches they have played and have amassed seven points. They trail leaders Austria, whom they have a game in hand on, by three points. Both of Belgium’s wins in the group have come away from home with both ending in similar 3-0 scorelines.
