Austria vs Sweden Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro

Sweden will be away to Austria on Tuesday in their next Euro 2024 qualifier. The two teams have been pooled together in Group F where Austria sit top and Sweden come in at third. Austria are unbeaten in the group and have racked up seven points from the three matches they have played. A third win of these qualifiers will take them a step closer to gracing next year’s showpiece in Germany. Ralf Rangnick’s charges drew 1-1 away to group favourites Belgium on Saturday to end their winning start. This though should have them even more confident going into this match with Sweden. Das Team have not lost to Sweden in the last three encounters, winning the last two. They bring with them a five-match unbeaten run with three of their four wins in this period coming at home.

Sweden have played two games in Group F and have tasted victory as well as defeat so far. They were thumped 3-0 on matchday one by Belgium at home. But recovered in emphatic fashion against Azerbaijan, scoring five goals without reply. This was back in March and to help prepare for Austria, Jan Andersson’s charges defeated New Zealand 4-1 in a friendly on Friday. The Blagult have been in terrific form recently and aside from the loss to Belgium, have won six of their last seven games. They will seek a win here to avoid being left by the wayside in the race to Germany.
