Augsburg, 12th in the table, welcome Paderborn, 18th, to the Augsburg Arena on Wednesday night. The hosts are coming off the back of a thumping victory away to Schalke, running out 3-0 winners to end a run of six games without a victory. He missed last week's defeat to Wolfsburg after serving a ban for breaking quarantine rules. Augsburg fans will hope he behaves and keeps up this winning streak.

Rock bottom of the German top flight, Paderborn needed to make an immediate improvement after the hiatus if they were to have any chance of staying up. While they haven't tasted victory in their two return fixtures, they have avoided defeat. Yet Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Hoffenheim meant that they had failed to win any of their last eight games. With Augsburg conceding at least one goal in their last six home matches, we anticipate that Paderborn will be encouraged to go for a win here.
