The loss means that Augsburg have now failed to win nine of their last 11 matches in all competitions. At home, they are winless in four games. Scoring goals is a problem for Augsburg with only four Bundesliga teams scoring fewer than their tally of 15. This poor attacking record may prove costly against a Leipzig with the best defensive record in the top flight. Leipzig have won their last four matches against Augsburg in all competitions.
