The German Bundesliga enters Round 30 this weekend with one of the matches seeing Augsburg host Koln with both sides keen on collecting three points. Ahead of the match, Augsburg are 13th with 31 points, three shy of 12th placed Koln. Both sides head to the game on the back of losses in the last round of matches. Augsburg fell 2-0 to Hertha Berlin, making it the second straight game they have failed to score. Being just six points off the automatic relegation slot, they will be hoping to get moving here. They have managed just one win in their last five matches but of their total eight wins this season, five have come at home. However, in recent times, they have gone winless in four straight home matches in the league, losing twice and drawing twice. In their last six home league matches, they have managed just one clean sheet with four of the matches producing over 2.5 goals. They are unbeaten in 10 matches against Koln, winning five of these and keeping as many clean sheets. This should give them the motivation ahead of the clash.

As for Koln, the return of the league has not borne a lot of good tidings. They were on a fine run ahead of the forced break but matters have not been very rosy after resumption and they are still winless. In their last outing, they suffered a 4-2 loss to Leipzig making it the fourth straight game since resumption that they have conceded at least two goals. They have no clean sheet in any of their last six matches and each of their last 12 matches has yielded over 2.5 goals. They have three wins and three losses in the last six away matches and with just one clean sheet therein. In eight of their last 10 away matches, Koln have conceded at least two goals. Each of their last six away matches have ended in over 2.5 goals too.
