Augsburg have a rare chance to win three home league games in a row against Bayern Munich, but will have to battle past their poor recent form. This Bundesliga matchday 19 will be played at the Augsburg Arena on Saturday. Ahead of this round, the hosts are 10th with 21 points while the visitors are 2nd with 44 points. Augsburg are comfortably above the relegation zone and are seven points behind top-seven teams. Whether they have the stomach to battle and rise up the table is a cause of concern, as they look to ride their poor recent form. They have lost three of their last five Bundesliga matches, winning only once. Thankfully for the home fans, that win came in their most recent Bundesliga match in a 2-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach. The lone defeat came in the league against Werder Bremen, surprisingly at home. Going further back, they have won ten of their last 12 league games, giving them enough momentum to speed through. Bayern have even won four of their last five away league matches and would be desperate to not repeat the results of their last two league trips to Augsburg – where they were surprisingly beaten.
