With Real Madrid being knocked out of the tournament in the last eight, it's a shame that the two top teams left in the Copa del Rey meet in the semi-finals. The other last four game sees Celta Vigo take on Alaves, so whoever wins between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are going to be the hot favourites to win the cup. Atletico Madrid have had success over Barcelona in the Champions League in recent years but are down in fourth in La Liga ten points behind leaders Real Madrid. This looks to be their best chance of domestic success and will be looking for a lead to take to Barcelona for the second leg. Atletico have drawn their last two La Liga games but have won six out of nine at home so are still difficult to beat on home territory. Barcelona are on another of their long unbeaten runs and it's seven games since a cup loss away at Athletic Bilbao. This season they haven't always been scoring plenty of goals away from home and I see the safest bet here being a bet on under 2.5 goals in the game.
