All of a sudden football in Spain has become really fascinating. Barcelona's golden unbeaten run has come to an end and they are only three points clear of Atletico at the top of La Liga with Real Madrid a further point behind. Barcelona have gone three league games without a win losing the last two and only hold a slender 2-1 lead over Atletico coming into the second leg of this Champions League quarter final. Atletico beat Barcelona at this stage two years ago and are in a decent position to do so again. Their recent form against Barcelona isn't good though and they have already been beaten by them three times this season, once on home soil. They'll need to be patient against Barcelona and of course will be dreading conceding an away goal. Doing that would mean Atletico having to score twice just to possibly get extra-time. Atletico have already lost at home to Benfica in the Champions League this season and were held to a 0-0 draw after extra time by PSV in the last sixteen. They haven't lost any of their last ten home league games but Barcelona have been a big force away from home in the Champions League this season winning two and drawing two. A draw will do them here and I see Barcelona at least getting one goal and qualifying for the semi-finals.
