The biggest game in the Indian Super League this weekend features two sides in the top four, and fourth placed Mohun Bagan plays host to league leaders Mumbai City. Mohun Bagan have managed 23 points so far and Mumbai are ahead of them by a massive 10 points. Coming from a 2-1 home win over Goa, Mohun Bagan will be hoping to take advantage of a second straight home match. In their last two matches they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet but they have three in five, while they’ve only failed to score in three of their last 10 games. Mohun Bagan do not bring to this game a very strong scoring run; they’ve failed to score in two of their last three matches and have only managed more than a goal in one of the last seven. At the same time, they haven’t been conceding a lot of goals; in the last 10 matches, they’ve let in more than a goal in just two, and so most of their games have posted under 2.5 goals. In 12 of their 13 league matches, Mumbai City have scored more than a goal and coming into this game, they will hope to improve on their performance in defence, having managed just two clean sheets in six away league games. In three of their last six away matches in the league, Mumbai City have conceded two or more goals. Both teams have scored in four of their last six league matches and while they have the best attack, they’ve conceded 13 times in their 13 league matches so far and will need to work on that.
