Napoli are in second place in the Serie A table but eight points behind the league leaders Juventus. They are unbeaten in their last ten games in all competitions and their last defeat was at Juventus. That's their only loss in the last 15 matches and midweek saw them get a comfortable 3-1 home win over Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League to stay top of the group with one game to go. Three of their last four away league games have ended in victory for Napoli and have only lost one of their last four games away to Atalanta.
The home side are ninth in the table and 11 points behind their opponents. They have had an inconistent season winning their first league game and then going seven without a win. Atalanta recovered well with four straight league wins scoring 14 goals but then lost 3-2 away at Empoli last weekend. That's despite taking a 2-0 lead and then they conceded a 92nd minute winner. Home form for Atalanta has seen them win their last two including a 4-1 win over third placed Inter. Before that they had one point from three games. They do tend to blow hot and cold but Napoli are in good form at present and can get the away win here.
