Atalanta will host Juventus on Sunday in their next Italian Serie A match. Only one point separates the two teams on the table with Juventus in third sitting above Atalanta in fourth. Atalanta have won four of their six league matches to amass 12 points. They trail leaders Inter by three though that could have changed by the time they play. The hosts have won their last three matches and have done so without conceding. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men defeated Verona 1-0 away from home on Wednesday. As they have a 100% record this season at home, those two wins coming against Monza and Cagliari without conceding a goal. 

Juventus suffered their first loss of the season the last time they were away. This was a 4-2 defeat away to Sassuolo last weekend. Massimiliano Allegri’s men did however bounce back in midweek and defeated Lecce 1-0 at home with a goal in the second half giving them the victory. That left them this season with four wins from their six league fixtures. The win moved them up to within two points of top spot and kept their early title charge on track. Juventus haven’t lost to Atalanta in four meetings now. They won 2-0 the last time they were in Bergamo and will arrive here fancying their chances of claiming all the spoils.
