The home team are currently in fifth position with 43 points while the visitors are in fourth place with 45 points. Atalanta were five matches unbeaten before losing their last two matches. They were knocked out of the Copa Italia in their last match. This is now two home defeats in a row. They know a victory in this match will see them leapfrog Juventus into the lucrative fourth position. Atalanta have won their last two matches against Juventus which is already their best ever record against them. They won both these matches without conceding a goal. Atalanta are attempting to become the first side since Parma in 2010 to win three consecutive league matches against Juventus. They are also trying to avoid consecutive league home defeats for the first time since 2020.

Juventus have bounced back from a dismal opening to their season. They are undefeated in their last ten league matches with their last league defeat coming  against Atalanta in November.
