Italian champions AC Milan opened their title defence with a home win over Udinese and will be looking to build on it when they head to Bergamo to face Atalanta, who also opened their campaign with a win. Atalanta, who wrapped up preseason with two straight defeats, opened their Serie |A campaign with a 2-0 win over Sampdoria courtesy of goals from Rafael Toloi and Ademola Lookman either side of half time. Towards the end of last season, as Milan raced to the title, they beat Atalanta 2-0 at home, and Atalanta’s opening win was actually their first in three league games. They have two losses in their last three league games and failed to score in those two losses. They have seven straight wins in the league ahead of this game, and in their last 10 league matches, they’ve managed seven clean sheets. In each of the last four league matches, Milan have managed more than a goal, while they have conceded a total three goals in their last five league games. Playing away from home will not pose Milan any problem; they haven’t lost in the last 12 league matches on the road, and they have nine wins in that period.
