Fifth placed Aston Villa host West Ham United who are two places below them in the Premier League. Villa are unbeaten in their last four league games and had won three in a row before a 1-1 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Villans have won five of their eight Premier League games this season and only three of them have been at Villa Park. Away performances have saw them lose heavily at Newcastle and Liverpool but they did win at Burnley and Chelsea. It's their home form which has played a key role in turning them from a struggling side to one of the top teams in the table. The Lions have won all three of their home league matches this season with 13 goals scored and only two conceded. At least three goals have been scored in each of those matches, including six against Brighton. Villa have won their last ten home league fixtures and have really turned Villa Park into a fortress and that wasn't the case when losing their last two home league games against the Hammers.

West Ham United are two points behind their opponents. They made a bright start to the new season but have only won one of their last four Premier League matches. That was at home to bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United. Their most recent fixture was a 2-2 draw at home to Newcastle United needing a late goal to rescue a point. Both Liverpool and Manchester City have beaten them in the Premier League this season. Away form has produced wins at Brighton and Luton and that loss at Anfield. Winning this weekend is going to be difficult and we tip Aston Villa to get an 11th straight home league win.
