Tottenham have to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat to Dortmund in the Europa League. They played a weakened side in that game and the regulars will be back for a game they just have to win. With a five point gap between them and leaders Leicester City, even a draw here could be a disaster if Leicester as expected beat Newcastle on Monday.  The loss to Dortmund made it three games without a win, hopefully they're not running out of steam just at the wrong moment. They do of course have a good chance of beating Aston Villa because almost everyone else does in the Premier League. Villa are showing no signs at all of some miraculous recovery. They start the weekend nine points from safety but that's virtually ten because of their terrible goal difference. Since a 2-0 home win over Norwich (who are just as bad really), Villa have lost four league games in a row and conceded 15 goals scoring just two themselves. Villa lost 3-1 at Spurs earlier in the season and another defeat looks likely here.
