Tim Sherwood and Gary Monk must be delighted they aren't the manager of Leeds United because if they were, they'd have been sacked ages ago. Aston Villa come into this match just one place off the bottom of the table and four points from safety, a total that can't grow much wider if they want to stay in the Premier League. They won their opening game of the season at Bournemouth but since then have earned just one point from eight games and that was a 2-2 home draw with bottom of the table Sunderland. Following this game Villa take on Spurs, Manchester City and Everton, sorry Mr Sherwood but unless something dramatic happens you're going to get the sack in either October or November. His side have already lost at home to Manchester United, West Brom and Stoke and have failed to score in their last two games. Only the draw at home to Sunderland had more than one goal scored, so you can see why I've gone for under 2.5 goals as the best bet in this game. Swansea are also having problems at present and lost at home to Stoke on Monday dropping them to 14th, four points above the bottom three. That made it six games without a win in all competitions and it feels like that win over Manchester United was light years ago. They are yet to win away from home and badly need some points soon.
