Aston Villa fans really don't know what their club is up to at present. They're down at the bottom of the table and have already lost on Saturday and Tuesday without scoring a goal and conceding six. In between those defeats to Manchester City and West Ham they failed to do anything in the transfer window. No knights in shining armour have arrived to save them. A striker would have been handy as Villa have failed to score in their last three games and they remain ten points from safety. A win over Norwich would reduce that to seven so this really is a vital game for them. Norwich are also in pretty dreadful form losing their last five games and conceding 17 goals. They have lost seven of their last eight away league games (how did they win at Old Trafford?) but I just can't bring myself to predicting a Villa home win. Aside from that crazy game against Liverpool, Norwich have only scored one goal in their last four games. Under 2.5 goals in this game looks the safest bet.
