Newcastle are faring a lot better in their attempt to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking. They're third and just two points off the automatic promotion spots. No draws so far in the league with five wins and three defeats. Away form was appalling last season and this time around they lost their opening away match. Since then they have won three in a row on the road scoring nine and keeping three clean sheets. With Villa struggling for form Newcastle can get another away win here to keep up the pressure on the top two.
