Aston Villa begin the weekend fifth in the Premier League and host Luton Town who are 17th. The Villans are in top form at present with eight goals in their last two games. They beat West Ham 4-1 at home in the Premier League last Sunday and then won at AZ by the same score in the Europa Conference League. That extended their unbeaten run to five games since being beaten by Everton in the Carabao Cup. Villa are only four points off the top of the table at the start of this weekend. It's their home form that has been outstanding all year with their last 11 home league games being won. All but two of those have seen Villa score at least a couple of goals with 17 in their four this season.

Luton Town are a place above the relegation zone at the start of the weekend. A positive result in the Bournemouth v Burnley game being played on Saturday will see them drop into the bottom three. Only one of their nine league games has been won this season. That was a 2-1 win at Everton but they have been unable to build on that success. The Hatters lost at home to Burnley and Tottenham before earning a point in a 2-2 draw at Nottingham Forest last weekend. That was a good point considering they trailed 2-0 going into the 83rd minute. Away form this season saw them lose their first three games before getting four points from the last two. Aston Villa are in top form and we tip them to win this and be ahead at both half and full time.
