Aston Villa had a losing outing last time, and will be targeting a home win when they welcome Leicester City in their next game in the Premier League. Three points separate the two sides; Villa are 13th on 16 points and Leicester have 19 points in 10th place. Aston Villa have had some progress under Steven Gerrard and after their loss to Manchester City in the last game, they will be looking to get back to winning ways. They’ve failed to score just once in the last five matches and it will be interesting for them, playing a side that has been poor defensively. Meanwhile, they have just one clean sheet in the five matches and also have work to do defensively. Three of their last five matches have seen over 2.5 goals scored.

Leicester City are also looking to bounce back to winning ways, after a 2-2 draw with Southampton. They twice came from behind to earn a point and key to them here will be a better defensive output. Leicester haven’t kept many clean sheets this season; in the last five, they have none, and three times in them, they’ve conceded two or more. They’ve failed to score in just one of the last five and with Jamie Vardy in the team, they always have that threat. Each of their last four matches has produced over 2.5 goals, and both sides have scored in four of their last five games. Leicester have scored two or more goals in the last three matches.
