Aston Villa breathed some life into their bid to win automatic promotion to the Premier League with a 1-0 win over rivals Cardiff City on Tuesday. The win keeps them in fourth but they are now only five points behind second-placed Fulham with four games to go. It's not going to be easy for them though as Cardiff are in third and four points ahead of Villa but with a game in hand. All Villa can do is try to win their final four matches and hope the other two sides falter. It could have been a different story but for a recent run that saw the midlands side earn just four points from five games.  Their run-in isn't an easy one either with their final two games being against the sides currently fifth and sixth in the Championship so it may well be the play-offs for them. Home form has seen Villa lose just one of their last 13 league games and in that time they've beaten the sides currently top and third.

It's been another disappointing season for Leeds United who got off to a great start and then slipped out of contention for promotion back to the top flight. They start the weekend in 14th with no hope of a top six finish but no relegation worries either so little to play for. That's reflected by the fact they have just one win in their last eight league matches and only two in the last 18. A form guide for the last 15 game in the Championship has them one from bottom with just 11 points. Away form is appalling with just three points from their last nine in the Championship so it's no surprise the tip here is for an Aston Villa home win.
