Astana take on Celtic with the winners going into the play-off round of the Champions League. They managed to get through to the group stages last year and the Kazakhstan minnows did themselves proud at home. Taking on Atletico Madrid, Benfica and Galatasaray was a daunting task but none of their more experienced rivals managed to get a win. Madrid were held to a goalless draw while Benfica had to come from 2-0 down to get a point. Away form wasn't so good hence the fact it's important they try to get a lead here against Celtic. Their Scottish opponents had a right old time in the second qualifying round. A game against Lincoln Red Imps from Malta shouldn't have been that difficult but the so-called "big club" managed to lose the away leg 1-0 before Celtic won 3-0 in the home leg. They'll need to improve here if wanting to avoid another season in which they fail to get into the group stages. Astana can be backed to avoid defeat here against a Celtic side who often struggle on their travels.
