Esperance’s quest for a fifth CAF Champions League title takes them to Ivory Coast where they’ll face ASEC Mimosas in the semifinal return leg. The Tunisians aren’t in a very strong position coming here, following a 0-0 draw in the first leg. While ASEC did well to avoid defeat away from home, they can’t claim to be in a strong position either. With only one win in the last seven matches, their run of form hasn’t been great.
