Arsenal vs Watford Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Arsenal start the weekend in sixth place in the Premier League, six points off the top of the table but only one adrift of the Champions League places. They take on fourth placed Watford and will go ahead of them with a win. Their season started poorly with losses to Manchester City and Chelsea, since then they have played four league games and two cup matches and won all of them. Their opposition hasn't been the top teams and the Gunners have won their last four at home scoring 12 goals. They are beginning to improve under new boss Unai Emery but still need to take on a top team and beat them before we can see just how well they can do this season. Home form for Arsenal has seen only the Manchester clubs beat them in their last 29 league games, the previous defeat before that run just happened to be a home defeat by Watford in January 2017.

Watford's season got off to an impressive and unexpected good start with four wins out of four including a home win over Tottenham. A bit like Arsenal most of those wins were against out-of-form sides like Burnley and Crystal Palace and a home win over Brighton who have terrible away form. Their last three league and cup games haven't produced any wins and last weekend they drew at Fulham before losing on penalties to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup. Their away form isn't the best with only a win at Burnley in their last 14. This looks booked for an Arsenal home win.
