Arsenal come into this game having lost their last three games in the Premier League. They are still fifth in the table and struggling to get back into the Champions League. That makes winning the Europa League even more important if they want to avoid a third straight season without Champions League football. Only one of those three recent defeats has been at the Emirates where the Gunners have an excellent home record. In all competitions they have only been beaten this season by the two Manchester clubs and Crystal Palace. That was their second straight La Liga defeat after losing 3-2 at Atletico Madrid on April 24 conceding a winner nine minutes from time. Before those two losses, they had won four league and cup games in a row. Their season began in the Champions League where they earned two points from three low-scoring games but only scored one goal. Their third-place finish took them into the Europa League where they have won two of their three away games. This game is a difficult puzzle to solve with Arsenal struggling for form but doing well in the Europa League, back them to win this match.
