Arsenal vs Tottenham Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Daniel Ngulu | in Premier League Predictions
Tottenham are coming straight from two wins in London derbies – against Chelsea and Crystal Palace, and they are in fine form, with six straight wins in all competitions but they are not better than Arsenal, who are on 18 matches unbeaten though Arsenal have already fallen in one London derby – against Chelsea. Spurs have beaten West Ham too in another London derby and here they will be looking to extend that run over London rivals but for an Arsenal side unbeaten in 10 straight home matches, with seven wins therein, it will take a lot. The Gunners have lost just three of their last 33 league matches at home and those have been against Manchester sides – twice to City and once to United so they take to this game a good run and will be very confident. Arsenal manager Unai Emery rested the entire first team for the midweek Europa League clash against Ukrainian side Vorskla and fatigue will not be an issue in this clash. Spurs too picked a win, at home to Inter Milan in the Champions League and they should be in the right state, having played in England so we expect an entertaining Sunday afternoon clash. While Arsenal have picked straight draws in their last two league matches at home, Spurs are on straight wins in their last five away league matches. In the eight away matches in the league this season, Spurs have lost just once and scored in all while keeping four clean sheets. Arsenal have lost just one of their seven home matches in the league this season and their strength at the Emirates can never be overlooked plus the fact that Spurs last beat Arsenal at home in 2010.

Our Arsenal vs Tottenham Prediction
Spurs last wan an away game against Arsenal in 2010, which will not go down as a very good record considering they get to play an Arsenal side with just three home losses in the last 33 matches. Arsenal have also been stronger this season as compared to the previous years and this could be attributed to Emery’s impact at the club. While they fell to Manchester City at home, and Chelsea away, they managed to hold their own against Liverpool and will fancy this chance to face a bitter rival at home. A win for Arsenal seems very likely here.
