Arsenal’s six-game unbeaten run was brought to an end at Liverpool in their last league game and they will be hoping to restart a fresh one when they host Sheffield United this Sunday in the fourth week of matches. Sheffield United go to this game with so little to look back to, having lost in each of their four games this season. They are only above Fulham in the standings by goal difference while Arsenal, who won their opening two league matches, are fifth in the standings. Against Liverpool, Arsenal were timid and didn’t even seem in control after taking the lead and as a result were dominated for the entire game. A key stat they carry to this game is that they have scored in each of their matches this season and in the league, they have netted at least twice in three of their last four. They were however the fourth best defensive side in the league, conceding 39 goals and this season, their defence can take some credit for keeping scores down even when losing. In their last three matches, Sheffield have not conceded more than a goal. The assignment at Emirates will not be easy by all means even though Arsenal have not been scoring a lot of goals lately. Sheffield have six straight losses in the league, scoring one goal and conceding 10 goals in the process. It has not been better away from home, with the team registering just one win and seven losses in 11 away league games.
